About Me
I’m a former U.S. Air Force Colonel where I served as a physicist for over 26 years–and, including my time at the U.S. Air Force Academy–that’s over 30 years of military service. I specialized in electro-optics and lasers, and have extensive training and experience in launching satellites, missile defense, nuclear, chemical, and biological defense, and NATO operations.
My background in science and technology enables me to readily grasp concepts in health, wellness, nutrition, and quantum healing, so that I can help you in understanding complicated health challenges and guide in in exploring holistic and natural approaches to restore your health with easy-to-understand terminology, explanations, and where I will help you to develop a plan to achieve the health and life that you desire. This will allow you to become more empowered and responsible for your overall health and well-being.
When I was 45 years old, I experienced excruciating pain in my abdomen and had trouble breathing, which landed me in the hospital, where even morphine did not reduce any of my pain. When I found out that I had ovarian cancer, I made the immediate decision to completely change my nutrition and diet to an organic, raw living vegan one with plenty of fresh green vegetable juices. Within 3 months of making this change, my elevated tumor marker became normal again and my tumor began to shrink. Seven months later, the tumor was starting to die from the inside out and I thought that everything was under control, so I went back to working 16-18 hour days and traveled overseas for my job, where I was unable to maintain my regimen. By the time I returned back to the United States, all the good progress made up until that point reversed. A couple months after that, my doctor told me that the cancer had spread to my entire abdominal lining, causing me to experience multiple hemorrhages. Both my lungs eventually collapsed and filled with fluid, upon which doctors lost hope for my survival and placed me under hospice care on an oxygen machine. My oncologist gave me 4 weeks to live.
Throughout, I refused chemotherapy because I felt that chemo would damage my immune system–the very system I needed to deal with the cancer. After much prayer, I chose a more holistic and natural approach, focusing heavily on improving my nutrition and lifestyle because I felt that was more in line with respecting the body and the way in which it was designed. I had surgery and by the grace of God, I miraculously recovered.
As a result of this experience, my perspective on life changed profoundly, as I discovered many life truths. Ironically, it took me being brought, literally, to the brink of death before I slowed down enough to learn these truths, which then led me down the path of healing holistically through addressing the mind, body, and spirit, and how they are all interconnected. I also learned that healing from a condition as complex as cancer cannot be addressed by only one method; it has to be an integrated approach in treating cancer from all aspects in a holistic manner. Because of this experience, I became inspired to learn as much as I could about cancer and other chronic illnesses because I strongly desired to help as many people as I could with what I learned.
I furthered my education and training through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I studied over one hundred dietary theories and a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods, becoming a Certified Holistic Health Coach. I’m also Certified Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P), and a Certified Essential Oils Coach through the Essential Oil Institute, studying under Dr Josh Axe. Drawing on this knowledge, I help you to create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.
As a coach, I put the power back in YOUR hands.
